About Us

Sumsare Bowhunting Safaris is owned and run by Gerard Erasmus. He was born and raised in Namibia, where he gained most of his experience in hunting. After moving to South Africa, his interest in archery started.  This also became his forte. Today he specializes in Bowhunting Safaris & Leopard Hunting Safaris in the African wilderness and takes extreme pride in his knowledge and successes in this field. 

After 12 years hunting experience in South Africa, he decided to go back home. He bought property in Namibia and operates most safaris from there now.

Sumsare Bowhunting Safaris is not only enticing his client's with bowhunting, but got a diverse treat in stock, rifle hunting safaris, photographic safaris, golfing safaris and tigerfishing in the Okavango Delta. 

At Sumsare Bowhunting Safaris we look at the hunting industry differently.  Our outlook and objectives are to give each client a more personal safari with quality trophies and an experience that will never be forgotten.
